Sydney, Australia 18th November 2016 – Harley-Davidson Australia & New Zealand has proudly announced Gold Coast Harley-Davidson as Dealer of the Year for 2016. The highly sought after award was presented to Steve Schilling, Dealer Principal of Gold Coast Harley-Davidson on behalf of his team at the Harley-Davidson National Dealer Meeting held in Sydney last week.
Alongside the Dealer of the Year, the Road to Retail Excellence Program winners were also announced. The elite achievers are Adelaide Harley-Davidson Bike Works, Canberra Harley-Davidson and Western Ranges Motorcycles in Tamworth.
The Dealer of the Year (DOTY) and the Road to Excellence Program rewards excellence across all areas of dealership operations. Dealers are assessed across a strict criteria including:
- Customer satisfaction
- Business reporting
- Marketing and events
- Commitment to training
- Sales, services, parts and accessories, clothing performance to target

The ANZ Dealer of the Year receives a $20,000 contribution towards travel and accommodation to attend the global Annual Harley-Davidson Dealer Meeting to be held in Los Angeles in 2017.
