Sydney, Australia: Festival-goers heading to Cooly Rocks On this weekend will be treated to a dose of classic Harley-Davidson, with the heritage brand set to welcome visitors to the H-D Zone for the fifth year running.
Specially created for the rockabilly-inspired event, the H-D Zone will feature a hoard of custom Harley-Davidson motorcycles, as well as the vintage-styled Harley-Davidson Airstream trailer, staffed by the iconic brand’s team of 1950s-style pin-up models who’ll bring a rocking menu of ‘dude-food’ delights and even more classic chic to the party.
Those looking to get even more hands-on can kick through the gears and open the throttle on a real Harley-Davidson motorcycle with the H-D Jumpstart® experience. The Harley-Davidson General Merchandise trailer will also be on offer displaying the array of MotorClothes® showcasing that Harley-Davidson has a whole lot more to offer than just motorcycles.
What’s more, on Saturday 6 June, one lucky individual will also be announced as the winner of an all-new Street™ 500, the manufacturer’s first Learner Approved Motorcycle which was officially unveiled at Melbourne’s MOTO EXPO last year.
“There is no doubt that 1950s and 60s nostalgia has played a significant role in defining Harley-Davidson as the most unique motorcycle brand in the world. We’re very excited to be a part of such a special event that enables us to go back in time to an era when Rock ‘N’ Roll went hand in hand with Harley-Davidson,” said Adam Wright, Director of Marketing for Harley-Davidson Australia.
“The H-D Zone is designed to offer visitors to Cooly Rocks On a piece of that nostalgia and the opportunity to immerse themselves in our vintage Harley-Davidson culture,” Wright continued.
Cooly Rocks On will take place in the towns of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads in Queensland between 29 May and 8 June 2015. The H-D Zone will be open from Thursday 4 June to Monday 8 June, located at Marine Parade, Coolangatta Beach Front.
