- Digital Easter eggs have been hidden across the pages of Volkswagen Australia's new website
- Website users who take part in the Easter egg hunt over the holiday weekend and find all the eggs can enter to win a host of Volkswagen prizes and supermarket vouchers
Sydney, As Australians are about to go into an Easter weekend like no other, staying home to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Volkswagen Australia will be holding a virtual Easter egg hunt on its newly launched website, with a range of Volkswagen merchandise and supermarket vouchers up for grabs.
Hidden throughout the new website's pages and sections are strategically placed Easter eggs, which eagle-eyed hunters need to find in order to provide the correct total number in their competition entry. The first five entrants with the correct number of eggs hidden throughout the website will win a prize pack containing a LEGO Kombi Van, a $100 Coles voucher, a $100 Woolworths voucher, and a Volkswagen merchandise bundle.
Volkswagen Australia's Digital Transformation Manager, Mr. Craig O'Donnell, explained the concept behind the digital initiative.
"It's a particularly challenging time for Australians everywhere, and while we will all be home-bound this Easter, it's great that we can bring a small part of the Easter tradition to life via our new website and hopefully have a little bit fun with our customers," Mr. O'Donnell said.
The Volkswagen Virtual Easter Egg Hunt Promotion is live now, and will run for the duration of the Easter weekend, with winners announced on Wednesday 15th April.
